This publication aims to clarify the parameters of interfaith and intercultural dialogue in the world in general, and the Kingdom’s efforts made to strengthen this dialogue. It presents how the idea of interfaith dialogue was formed and how it came into play. Highlighting historical dimension, contemporary reality, considerations and contents along with the standards and principles adopted. Moreover, It also reveals the efforts made by the Kingdom to enhance the dialogue between followers of religions and cultures at the global level through international conferences and forums. The publication highlights the prominent role of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID).
